Environmental and Performance Measurement Event

UKAS is the lead sponsor of the Environmental and Performance Measurement Event. UKAS will be networking at this public sector event taking place on Tuesday 8th July at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in central London.

The event, ‘Environmental Management - Performance Measurement -Raising Our Game’ aims to help public sector sustainability practitioners get to grips with a wide range of environmental issues, such as climate change, carbon management, waste, water, transport, procurement, energy efficiency and environmental management systems.

The conference brings together for the first time members of the highly successful National Network of Regional EMS groups for the public sector (a support group for users of environmental management systems) and central government’s Sustainable Procurement and Operations Practitioners Forum.

This unique event is for practitioners from a diverse range of public sector bodies to help share and exchange knowledge and good practice, network and find solutions to common problems in small relaxed informal groups. This will be done in a straightforward way by focusing on real situations and finding practical ways of achieving higher levels of performance. Speakers will include Joan Ruddock, MP, DEFRAs Minister for climate change, biodiversity and waste

The event is open to members from the Public Sector. For more information about this conference and how to register, see the event flyer or for any other queries contact the EMS Network at ems.network@kirklees.gov.uk
