Agilent Technologies are holding a Measurement Confidence Seminar on Thursday 12th June 2008 at Winnersh in UK and Ireland Service Centre. During this event, the seminar will involve discussing how Agilent can deliver the tools and solutions that allow you to get the most from your equipment, which in turn will help you to increase your productivity whilst minimising system downtime.

The speakers include Agilent’s European Quality and Metrology Manager, Jean-Claude Krynicki, John Hurll, Assessment Manager from UKAS, NPL and Frost & Sullivan. The afternoon provides you with the opportunity to visit Agilent’s Service and Support Unit where they will be pleased to demonstrate UK and Ireland Service centre calibration services.

John Hurll, UKAS Assessment Manager will be delivering a presentation on 'Choosing a supplier of calibration services’.  This presentation will consider the choice of a supplier of calibration services. It will address matters such as:

  • Benefits of using an accredited calibration laboratory
  • Scope of accreditation – What can the laboratory really do?
  • What is Best Measurement Capability?
  • Pricing – what are you really getting for your money?
