UKAS undergoes regular Peer Evaluation by the European cooperation for Accreditation (EA) in order to maintain its status as a signatory to the Multilateral Agreement (MLA). The purpose of the evaluation is to verify UKAS’ continuing conformity with ISO/IEC 17011, and other criteria on behalf of European and UK Regulators.
Following the latest evaluation, it has been confirmed that UKAS will remain a signatory of the EA MLA for the fields of testing, calibration, inspection, certification of management systems, products and personnel.
