The ILAC MRA Mark has now been registered for use with the UK Intellectual Property Office which means that UKAS can now sublicense the Mark to accredited laboratories.  All UKAS accredited laboratories are entitled to use the ILAC MRA Mark provided they have signed the ILAC MRA License Agreement and use the Mark as prescribed.  The ILAC MRA Mark can only be used in conjunction with the relevant laboratory accreditation symbol.

If you are a UKAS accredited laboratory wishing to use the ILAC MRA Mark then you will need to:-

• Print 2 copies of the License Agreement
• Complete and sign both copies of the License Agreement (do not date)
• Forward both copies to Tony Vernel, UKAS, 21-47 High Street, Feltham, Middx TW13 4UN

On receipt of your completed License Agreement, UKAS will sign and date both.  One will be returned to you and the other retained for our records.  As soon as the signed Agreement is sent to you, UKAS will make available a copy of the ILAC MRA Mark in electronic format.

Please note the the ILAC MRA Mark cannot be used unless both UKAS and the accredited laboratory have signed a License Agreement.
