To gain accreditation, an Imaging Services Department must be fully conversant and comply with the relevant standard.

The ISAS Standard, jointly developed by the College of Radiographers and the Royal College of Radiologists, is specifically aimed at UK organisations providing diagnostic imaging services in both the NHS and the private sector.
