ISO 14001 on public sector agenda

Research carried out Dr Alexander Moutchnik, from the University of Heidelberg in Germany, has shown that ISO 14001 implementation is now growing fastest in the public sector.

National and local governments, municipal authorities, city administrations,

regional bodies including the European Commission, Olympic committees

and even the military sector are implementing ISO 14001. This detailed survey

is the first to reveal the amplitude of this global phenomenon.
