» Event: Innovation in water & waste analysis methods

A two-day conference, organised by the SCI's Environment, Health and Safety Group and RSC’s Water Science Forum and the Standing Committee of Analysts (SCA), will showcase the recent progress of the SCA, discuss new and emerging analytical challenges, while also providing opportunities to network and share experience with colleagues throughout the industry.
This event will be of interest to laboratory technical and quality staff, operational staff, and consultants and professionals across a wide range of industry sectors and specialism’s who depend on SCA methodology to enable them to obtain analytical results they can confidently present to regulators and customers. UKAS will be participating and will provide a presentation.
The aim of the two-day event is to provide water, waste and soils analysis laboratories, regulators, and purchasers of analytical services with a clearer understanding of future laboratory regulation, and how the SCA, with continued industry support, will provide the methods needed to meet the challenges current and future regulation presents.
