UKAS has been licensed by The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) to manage and deliver IQIPS. IQIPS is a professionally-led assessment and accreditation programme designed to improve services, care and safety for patients undergoing physiological science service tests, examinations and procedures.
IQIPS is supported by Professor Sue Hill, Chief Scientific Officer at NHS England, and the Care Quality Commission's Chief Inspector of Hospitals has recognised that accreditation has a key role to play in the future of hospital inspections.
The Spring Edition of the National Deaf Children's Society includes an article about IQIPS, you can read the full article here.
