» NEW: APLAC T097 Proficiency Testing Programme
24 November, 2014
UKAS are calling for expressions of interest to participate in a new proficiency testing programme, APLAC T097.
The objective of this programme is to help participating laboratories to demonstrate their competence of food microbiology testing in different economies. It is designed to create opportunities for laboratories to improve and try to establish equivalence.
Three quantitative items will be measured for comparison and requirement; Aerobic plate count, Staphylococcusaureus and Sulphite-reducing Clostridium. Participants should use the Direct Plate Count method instead of the MPN method.
The deadline for registration is Monday 15th December 2014; however please note that all expressions of interest must be submitted by Monday 8th December 2014. A maximum of two laboratories are required for this programme and it is free of charge to participants.
If you would like to register your interest, or have any questions, please contact Noel Burgher on email@example.com
