15 May, 2018
A new date has been added for the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Seminar, Awareness for Transition on the 21st August 2018, in Cardiff.
Please follow the link below for further information about the course and to submit your booking form:
This seminar aims to provide details of the changes within the 2017 edition of ISO/IEC 17025 and includes a review of all key changes.
It will be of benefit to those who are already familiar with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 and who are looking to understand the changes that have been made. For those that do not have this familiarity, then the more detailed ISO/IEC 17025: 2017 Awareness course offered by UKAS is recommended.
The seminar is aimed at any individual responsible for implementing and maintaining a quality management system accredited to the existing ISO/IEC 17025: 2005 and looking to transition to the revised standard. However, the seminar will be equally useful to any individual involved in conducting testing, sampling or calibration activities and wishing to understand and appreciate the differences between the 2005 and 2017 editions of the standard.
Using the knowledge gained from UKAS’s involvement in the ISO CASCO Working Group that revised the standard, the presenters will explain the rationale behind the changes, and will consider how the new emphasis on risk management can be applied in a laboratory environment.
