» UKAS Accreditation for Certification of Advisors and Installers under the DECC Green Deal Programme

UKAS has granted accreditation to additional certification bodies who were on the pilot project for accreditation against EN 45011 for certification of installation and advisory services under the DECC Green Deal programme. This follows the announcement on 17 May 2012 of the first tranche of accreditations. Details of the scope of accreditation for each certification body can be found on the individual accreditation schedules on the UKAS website.
The currently accredited certification bodies are:

Blue Flame Certification Limited
BM TRADA Certification
BRE Global Limited
British Board of Agrément
BSI Assurance UK Limited
Certsure LLP trading as NICEIC or ELECSA
CIBSE Certification Limited
Elmhurst Energy Systems
Energy Saving Trust
NAPIT Certification Limited
Ocean Certification Ltd
Oil Firing Technical Association (OFTEC)
Stroma Certification Limited
West Midland Kick Start Programme
Further applicant certification bodies are in the process of achieving accreditation on the pilot and roll-out accreditation programmes. Further announcements will be made in due course, and the schedules of accreditation will be published on the UKAS website.
