» UKAS appoints new Commercial Director

UKAS has appointed Mark Bohun as its new Commercial Director. Mark took up this newly created position on 20th May, forming a key part of a strengthened Executive Management team at UKAS.
Announcing Mark’s appointment, Matt Gantley, CEO of UKAS said: ”UKAS’s vision is that everything that should be underpinned by accreditation is, and that accreditation continues to play a crucial role in supporting the UK’s quality infrastructure. Mark has a strong track record of introducing initiatives which positively affect both customers and internal teams, resulting in significant improvements in performance, efficiency and growth. UKAS is therefore delighted to appoint someone of Mark’s calibre, as it looks to push forward into new market sectors and continue to improve services for existing customers.”
With more than 6 years’ experience in conformity assessment and 18 years within professional services, Mark has been pivotal in delivering sustainable growth throughout his career. Mark was previously a Sales Director at the British Standards Institution (BSI), following a highly effective role as Sales Director at Croner when it formed part of Wolters Kluwer.
