Sanctions
ISO/IEC 17011 states that Accreditation Bodies are required to have procedures for suspension, withdrawal or reduction of the accreditation scope (collectively referred to as ‘Sanctions’).
Below is a summary of recent activity. Lists of organisations with scopes which are currently suspended (imposed or voluntary), and those organisations with their scopes of accreditation withdrawn or resigned during the past 12 months, can be found here.

- Imposed total suspensions: 3 organisations (2 testing laboratories, and 1 inspection body)
- Imposed total withdrawals: 1 organisation (1 calibration laboratory)

- Imposed total suspensions: 12 organisations (1 inspection body, 4 physiological services, 4 medical laboratories, and 3 calibration laboratories)
- Imposed total withdrawals: 0 organisations
