This course aims to provide an understanding in the requirements ISO 22870 and ISO 15189 in context of Point of Care Testing (POCT) provision. It is aimed at those with an existing awareness of ISO 15189 but interested in gaining accreditation for POCT.
A copy of BS EN ISO 15189: 2012 can be purchased and downloaded from the BSI Shop.
What are the benefits?
The course will enable delegates to gain knowledge in the particular requirements for quality and competence for POCT providers, as defined in ISO 15189 and ISO 22870 and how they are used as the criteria for accreditation. The awareness gained will be useful in preparing for accreditation as a POCT provider for those who have already been assessed to ISO 15189.
Please note: Delegates of this course will be required to complete a pre-course exercise prior to attending.

Who should attend?
The course is for those who or are interested in being accredited to ISO 15189/ISO 22870 as a POCT provider. Delegates should be from organisations with experience of ISO 15189 assessments.
