Assessment Manager – IQIPS

UKAS, the UK’s national accreditation body is recruiting an Assessment Manager for IQIPS.

Applicants will have:

  • Worked for several years at a senior level as a clinician in a physiology discipline
  • Experience in auditing and report writing
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A keen interest in service development and improvement

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of mainly physiology customers throughout their assessment and accreditation journey. This will include acting as the lead assessor (leading the assessment team and reviewing the quality management system) and technical assessing (confirming technical competence within his/her own area of expertise); supporting new customers to prepare for accreditation by providing technical and policy advice; coordinating the writing of assessment reports and recommendations; maintaining accurate customer records; training and supporting technical assessors.

Assessment Managers must be available to travel regularly throughout the UK with overnight stays.

Detailed training in assessment techniques, UKAS policies and procedures and UKAS systems is provided.

Salary: upwards of £45,000 per annum, plus benefits.
