Call for expressions of interest
The British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF) has developed a certification scheme for colour quality management, based on ISO 12647-2, for use in the printing industry.
UKAS is inviting expressions of interest from UK based certification bodies to participate in a pilot assessment programme for certification to the scheme. The pilot will provide the opportunity for certification bodies to achieve accreditation for certification of
Expressions of interest should be sent to email@example.com marked for the attention of Nicola Campbell and should arrive no later than Monday 1 November 2010. On receipt of expressions of interest, UKAS and the BPIF will provide further information on the application process for inclusion in the pilot, including details of a meeting for interested parties, which is expected to be held in November 2010. It is anticipated that assessments of applicants, including witnessing of certification activities, will take place between November 2010 and July 2011. The first stage would be a review of a certification body’s documentation that demonstrates how it has implemented the technical aspects of the scheme within its own systems.
