Business regulation and enforcement - industry involvement, local delivery and key policy developments' is senior-level keynote seminar, taking place on 16th October in London, that will consider what more can be done to develop the effective and proportionate enforcement of business regulation in the UK.
The seminar, chaired by Lord Lindsay, UKAS Chair, and Lord Curry of Kirkharle, Chairman of the Better Regulation Executive, will focus on recent and forthcoming extensions to the Primary Authority Scheme and will bring out latest thinking on what more the scheme can do to develop consistent and proportional enforcement. There will also be an opportunity to discuss the future of Government's Focus on Enforcement initiative and ongoing measures to improve the relationship between businesses and non-economic regulators.
Keynote speakers at the seminar include Graham Russell, Chief Executive, Better Regulation Delivery Office, Terry Scuoler, Chief Executive, EEF, the manufacturers' organisation and Business Focus on Enforcement Champion and Toby Perkins MP, Shadow Minister for Small Businesses.
