UKAS is supporting BSI in their launch of a consultation on the first iteration of a new standard called: Built Environment – Overarching Framework for Competence of Individuals – Specification. The standard has been developed using BSI’s new, dynamic #BSIFlex process to provide a framework setting out core principles of competence of individuals within the Built Environment, including;
- Leading and managing safety
- Communicating safety
- Delivering safety
- Risk management
- Regulations & processes
- Building systems
- Ethics
- Fire/life safety
