Rapidity expects to win new business with BPIF certification

Rapidity currently holds ISO 9001 , ISO 14001, ISO 27001 and FSC certifications so we felt it was a natural progression to show our commitment to high quality colour reproduction by achieving BPIF certification, which focuses on colour management. This is the only scheme out in the field which is UKAS approved and recognised worldwide which is why they opted for this scheme. As they already held ISO 9001, they had many of the fundamental requirements to build on so it was more of a case of implementing new procedures, investment in offline colour measuring hardware and educating staff on how the scheme operates within our business. They have an experienced Studio team and their operators are HP Level 3 trained so they have a vast knowledge and understanding of the equipment and its capabilities to achieve optimum results for customers which helped make the whole process seamless.

Rapidity currently runs across two operating sites so implementing the BPIF colour management scheme has given them the confidence that all of their machines are producing to the same high colour quality standard. Often they are printing on a host of different media across a variety of printing methods for companies with their corporate colours so it is paramount that we achieve perfect consistent results time after time which their client base have become accustomed to. Rapidity can now showcase this to our existing and prospective clients by being independently certified and approved. They anticipate being able to open doors to new business with this accreditation as clients demand ever increasing levels of quality.
