Statement from UKAS CEO
Throughout 2020, UKAS has worked tirelessly to deliver a comprehensive and consistent service, despite the challenges posed by the pandemic. We are proud to have been able to continue supporting our customers and stakeholders, to deliver accreditation across a broad range of sectors and to adapt to the specific challenges presented.
I am pleased to report that the feedback from customers has mirrored this positivity and that circumstances have not eroded the quality or technical integrity of our assessment processes. This is vital as our goal is to deliver trust and confidence in the products and services we all rely upon.
Nonetheless, we are very sensitive to the continuing adverse market conditions that affect our customers. Therefore, to help provide some certainty, we are pleased to announce that there will be no increase to our standard fee rates in 2021.
I have been tremendously impressed by the agility and resilience of the testing, inspection and certification sector in 2020. I am confident that working together we can continue to serve the needs of the UK and international market.
