UKAS Updates the list of accreditations for Assessment of Monitoring Plans and Verification of CO2 Emissions from Maritime Transport

UKAS has updated the list of accreditations against ISO 14065: 2013 for assessment of monitoring plans and verification of carbon dioxide emissions from maritime transport in accordance with EU Regulation 757/2015 (MRV Shipping). Details of the scope of accreditation for each certification body can be found on the individual accreditation schedules on the UKAS website (Browse accredited organisations/Certification Bodies/Greenhouse Gas Verification (GHG)/Maritime.

The accredited verification bodies are:

  • Bureau Veritas Certification Holding SAS – UK Branch
  • Centre Testing International (Shenzhen) Corporation
  • Dromon Bureau of Shipping
  • Lloyds Register Quality Assurance Ltd
  • Lucideon CICS Ltd
  • Nippon Kaiji Kyokai
  • SGS United Kingdom Limited
  • VerifAvia (UK) Ltd

This list will be updated when additional verification bodies are accredited.

Accreditation for MRV Shipping verification is now open to all applicants. Potential applicants should consult the UKAS web pages “Apply for Accreditation”.

Existing accredited bodies should consult their UKAS Assessment Manager in the first instance.
