Assessment Manager
Background:
Rebecca has a degree in Biomedical Science and a Masters in Audiology, plus 20 years’ NHS Audiology experience within adult, paediatric and vestibular clinics.
Prior to joining UKAS, Rebecca worked as a specialised clinician and supported students and trainees within the service she worked for.
She joined UKAS in 2021 as an Assessment Manager in the IQIPS team.
Experience:
Rebecca is an Assessment Manager and Lead Assessor delivering assessments for the IQIPS scheme, as well as benchmarking assessments and developing assisted applications material.
Rebecca continues to carry out Technical Assessing for Audiology customers to maintain her competence.
When not working:
Rebecca is a busy mum of two boys so can often be found ferrying them to rugby and football matches in the winter and watching them participate in Surf lifesaving at the beach in the summer months.
She enjoys spending time with her husband, friends and family at the beach in Poole near where she lives, and swimming in the sea when it is not too cold! She also enjoys yoga and Pilates and has a passion for cooking and baking.
