How long have you been with UKAS? Five years and 1 month.
What do you like most about your job? I really enjoy helping my fellow colleagues within UKAS, I have a really great team and feel valued across the business. Every day is different for me, I am constantly learning new things and it keeps me on my toes! I get to meet different people from all over the country from various backgrounds.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? I enjoy spending time with my family, going on dog walks or just staying home, either reading or watching something on television.
Why is accreditation important? Accreditation is important because it allows companies to prove their products and services are safe and that they comply with relevant standards. This in turn provides security and assurance to their customers.
What’s your most memorable moment at UKAS? My most memorable moment would be attending the company-wide evening events. Getting to meet people from across the business in person when I had only previously met them online.
