UKAS Assessment Manager
John joined UKAS in 1999. He is a practising Assessment Manager and is the UKAS Technical Focus Person responsible for Measurement Uncertainty, as well as being one of the two course tutors. Prior to joining UKAS, John had a long career as a Principal Research Scientist & Knowledge Leader at NPL, the UK’s National Metrology Institute.
This was preceded by a variety of metrology related roles in industry and academia. John holds a 1st Class degree and a D.Phil. in Applied Physics.
