Development Project Manager
Background:
Louise studied Biomedical Science and Applied Chemistry at university, after which she worked in government and research laboratories, managing laboratories in the food and agricultural sector. Louise joined UKAS in 2005 as an Assessment Manager, where she had a wide variety of customers based both in the UK and overseas in the Agricultural, Food, Biosciences and Veterinary sectors.
Experience:
Louise is very experienced in assessing organisations against a variety of international standards, whether it’s testing & calibration laboratories, Inspection Bodies or Certification Bodies using ISO/IEC 17025, ISO/IEC 17020, ISO/IEC 17065, ISO/IEC 17021 or ISO/IEC 17024. Louise joined the UKAS Development team over five years ago where she works with organisations, industry and government to develop accreditation in areas where it is not already established.
When not working:
Louise lives in a 500 year old cottage in East Kent with no straight walls or floors and in her spare time acts as the servant/butler/chef to 3 wonderful little cats.
