ISO/IEC 17011 states that Accreditation Bodies are required to have procedures for suspension, withdrawal or reduction of the accreditation scope (collectively referred to as ‘Sanctions’).   • Imposed total suspensions: 4 organisations (3 testing laboratories, and 1 inspection body)
  • Imposed total withdrawals: 4 organisations (2 testing laboratories, 1 medical laboratory, and 1 inspection body)

For the period October to December 2016:

  • Imposed total suspensions: 9 organisations (2 testing laboratories, 1 calibration laboratory, 4 certification bodies, and 2 inspection bodies)
  • Imposed total withdrawals: 1 organisation (1 testing laboratory)

For the period July to September 2016:

  • Imposed total suspensions: 8 organisations (5 testing laboratories, 2 calibration laboratories, and 1 certification body)
  • Imposed total withdrawals:0 organisations
