This module is based on UKAS publication Lab 48.
Lab 48 provides some supporting material and some additional guidance examples to assist in the process of improving the knowledge of some laboratories, their personnel, and their customers in relation to decision rule risks and associated statistics.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Understand and apply decision rule basics to their area of work
- Understand and apply the key terminology used in determining decision rules and their impact on conformity statements
- Consider issues that lead to difficulty in applying decision rules
- Access key references that relate to the development of decision rules and conformity statements
This course is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Can I access the eLearning modules once I have completed them?
- eLearning modules are available to the user for 12 months from the date of enrolment, and can be accessed any time within this period.
How do I pay?
- eLearning modules can be purchased online with a credit or debit card. If you are spending over £250 in a single transaction please contact our training team for additional payment options.
- Trainer-led and blended courses can be booked with a purchase order number and will be invoiced as soon as the booking is processed. The invoice can be cleared by BACS or card payment over the phone. The invoice value must be paid by the course start date.
