This course introduces the concept of Measurement Uncertainty in physiological science accreditation, its importance, and its prevalence in the IQIPS standard. The module is designed as a tool to support current and prospective UKAS customers in understanding the concepts associated with Measurement Uncertainty.

All those in physiological services who wish to develop an understanding of measurement uncertainty in accreditation and conformity assessment.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Determine the different definitions of measurement uncertainty and the benefits of this.
- Understand the components that might be considered part of an uncertainty budget.
- Evaluate their systems to consider where measurement uncertainty might impact on a reported result.
This course is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete.
Can I access the eLearning modules once I have completed them?
- eLearning modules are available to the user for 12 months from the date of enrolment, and can be accessed any time within this period.
How do I pay?
- eLearning modules can be purchased online with a credit or debit card. If you are spending over £250 in a single transaction please contact our training team for additional payment options.
- Trainer-led and blended courses can be booked with a purchase order number and will be invoiced as soon as the booking is processed. The invoice can be cleared by BACS or card payment over the phone. The invoice value must be paid by the course start date.
