The course will take an applicant for accreditation or interested party from their first thoughts about accreditation through to the ongoing cycle of assessments post-grant of accreditation.
It provides insight into the step-by-step process from enquiry to accreditation and includes UKAS processes such as contract review, assessment planning, post-assessment activity, grant, extension, and maintenance of accreditation.
The aim of this course is to demystify the language used by our Accreditation Body and dispel myths about the accreditation process it is also designed to be a resource that you can return to at any part of your journey.

By the end of this module, learners will be able to:
- Describe the steps in the process from enquiry through to grant of accreditation.
- Understand and apply common terms used during the accreditation process.
This course is expected to take approximately one hour to complete.
Can I access the eLearning modules once I have completed them?
- eLearning modules are available to the user for 12 months from the date of enrolment, and can be accessed any time within this period.
How do I pay?
- eLearning modules can be purchased online with a credit or debit card. If you are spending over £250 in a single transaction please contact our training team for additional payment options.
- Trainer-led and blended courses can be booked with a purchase order number and will be invoiced as soon as the booking is processed. The invoice can be cleared by BACS or card payment over the phone. The invoice value must be paid by the course start date.
