This module is supplementary to the UKAS Academy ISO/IEC 17020:2012 Awareness course. Learners should only complete this module after attending the Awareness course in full.

This module expands on the concepts that have already been considered in the ISO/IEC 17020 Awareness course and provides you with specific incident scene examination examples for you to consider in your setting. It links into the requirements of the Forensic Science Regulator Code of Practice, ILAC G19/2022 and RG201 to further develop your understanding of the key considerations for demonstrating conformity.

To enhance your learning experience, we have curated links to relevant further reading and there is a downloadable notebook for you to capture your reflections.
