his module is the second in the third and final series of modules relating to conformity assessment schemes (CAS).

It follows on from Module Two, which must be completed before accessing this module.

The focus of this module is on the certification of Inspection schemes to ISO/IEC 17020.

By the end of this course, learners will:

  • Be aware of and be able to explain where inspection schemes sit in relation to accredited conformity assessment.
  • Be able to use evaluate the development of an inspection scheme to determine if the key requirements of developing a CAS have been met.

  • Recap of Module 2 ‘The development and maintenance of a CAS’
  • ISO/IEC 17020:2012 requirements/considerations for ‘inspection schemes
  • Key take home messages

This course is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to one hour to complete.

Can I access the eLearning modules once I have completed them?
  • eLearning modules are available to the user for 12 months from the date of enrolment, and can be accessed any time within this period.
