Internal Audit for Healthcare course

This course will highlight the value of having effective audit mechanisms in place that ensure a systematic, disciplined approach to the evaluation and improvement of risk management, quality assurance and technical excellence.

The skills, knowledge and tools developed during this course will enhance the delivery of audits, assisting in the conformance with the requirements of healthcare standards and in turn, driving confidence and quality for service users and patients.

During the course, delegates will be signposted to selected key conformance requirements of healthcare standards such as IQIPS 2023 v2.1, QSI 2021 v2 and ISO 15189:2022. Learners will also gain an appreciation of ISO 19011 guidelines, ensuring that relevant aspects for the design, management and implementation of their internal auditing processes are considered.

Delegates who complete this training will be able to attend our free post-course drop-in sessions to support their learning. The hour-long virtual sessions run monthly and can be attended as many times as required to ask our training team any post-course questions.

Learners will be required to complete a pre-course exercise for this course and are responsible for ensuring that approximately four hours are dedicated to this activity prior to attending the instructor-led session.
