This is the second in a series of three modules intended to enable an understanding of conformity assessment schemes (CAS) and the importance of these schemes within accredited conformity assessment activity.

Note – The third module in the series can be found here: Part A, Part B and Part C. Where reference is made to this module it is to highlight that there will be follow-up and expansion of those points in those subsequent modules.

The ‘scope’ of the modules is limited currently to inspection and certification schemes relating to the certification of persons, products, processes and services.

    • Understand and apply key considerations to the development of a CAS.
